Four Corners

Date: April 11, 2011

The Four Corners Monument is at the intersection of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah.  The monument is on and managed by the Navajo Indian Reservation.  There is a small fee to enter the monument, which can be accessed via a road that passes through the northwest corner of New Mexico on its way from Colorado to Arizona.  The closest town of considerable size is Cortez, Colorado to the northeast.  The monument is a fairly new plaza with the intersection between the states clearly marked.
